With over 30 years of photography experience and a background in mentoring youth, I launched Project Teen Team in 2018 to bring the art of photography to inner-city teens.
From 2018 to 2023, we trained and inspired dozens of students before pausing due to my medical challenges. Now, fully recovered, I’m relaunching the program in March 2026 — and I need your help.
Your contribution will put cameras back in students’ hands and empower the next generation of artists, storytellers, and leaders.
What We Need & What You Get
We are seeking $20,000 to restart Project Teen Team in 2026.
Where the funds go:
$10,000 – Cameras, lenses, lighting, editing software
$5,000 – Program costs: studio rentals, transportation, exhibition space
$3,000 – Guest instructors, mentors, workshop leaders
$2,000 – Administrative costs to sustain the program
If we don’t reach the full goal, every dollar will still go toward cameras, classes, and student resources so the program launches on schedule.
